这首诗通常署名唐代王之涣,题名也写作登鹳鹊楼。欲是想要,穷在这里是尽,千里写看得远,不是要拿尺子量。更读再来一次的更。
Traditionally attributed to the Tang poet Wang Zhihuan, the tower’s name also appears with a variant character. Yu means wish; qiong means reach the limit here. A thousand li suggests a far-reaching view, not a measured distance. Geng means further or again.
前两句写景,后两句写想看得更远的行动。你可以把它联想到换一个观察位置;这是一种理解,不必把每首诗都变成争第一的口号。
The first two lines show a scene; the last two describe an action to see further. You might connect it with changing your viewpoint. That is one interpretation, not a demand to turn every poem into a slogan about winning.
